Alt Empordà
The best way to describe the charms of this region is to remind ourselves that the Alt Emporda is the land that captivated Salvador Dalé and that contains two of the vertices of the so-called Dalé Triangle, comprising the museum and the houses in which he spent much of his life. In this region, marked by the proximity of the sea and the Pyrenees, we might stress the interest afforded by the visits to the Cap de Creus Natural Park, the Empúries ruins and the medieval quarter of Sant Marté d'Empúries, the marshlands of the Aiguamolls de l'Emporda Natural Park, Cadaqués and Sant Pere de Rodes.
