The Dalé Triangle (Figueres Museum, Portlligat and Púbol)
The life and work of the Figueres painter Salvador Dalé (1904-1989) are condensed into three areas: the Theatre-Museum in Figueres houses much of the painter‘s work, illustrating his artistic trajectory from the outset and the surrealist period down to the creations made at the end of his life. The second area is the House-Museum at Portlligat, in Cadaqués, a group of fishermen‘s huts that Dalé refurbished in order to set up in them his studio and home, resulting in a labyrinthine structure that serves to house personal belongings of the painter. The "Dalé Triangle" is completed by Púbol Castle (municipality of La Pera), which Dalé gave Gala as a gift.
